Since we already have the main (not to say obvious) trends written by fashion’s biggest blogs and magazines, we chose to do a more personal and not-to-be-taken-so-seriously TOP TRENDS for the one and only Paris Fashion Week.
1. Witch(inism)
Maybe is the new American Horror Story fever, or the coming up of the greatest witch of all times – Maleficent of course – played by Angelina Jolie, it can be even the feminist wave taken over the fashion world. What we do know is that the witches are loose:
From Comme des Garçons urban style of the dark women, to Junya Watanabe’s neo version passing through Lanvin’s overlayered witch, we want them all.

Damir Doma
And then we arrived to this celtic fairy version of Paganism, with McQueen’s ladies walking around this wild and ultra-romantic landscape, showing pentagrams and elf ears.
2. Oversized Sleeves
Yes because what’s better than a very long sleeve to replace gloves? They’ve always been a success for Céline but this time we also loved the Acne’s pulls:

3. Monochromatic
The kings for this trend are Viktor&Rolf with the beautiful gray shades that also remind us of their new flagship store just opened at Faubourg Saint-Honoré, completely covered in gray felter. Gareth Pugh and Haider Ackerman are our princes for that matter:

Rick Owens
4. Fur
It seems like it’s never going away, no matter how environmentalist Stella McCartney gets. So we might as well respect and review them:
Givenchy time-traveled to the 90’s and took back everything they could, from animal prints to furry skirts. Meanwhile genius Jeremy Scott is just playing at Moschino with “Fur Real” coat.

Gareth Pugh (or the White Witch of Narnia)
5. Capes
We selected our favorites cape-masters: Issey Miyake and this oversized rounded sweaters with a touch of surrealistic melting. But the Oscar goes to Gareth Pugh – the darkest genius on fashion – with this perfect geometric (master)piece.

6. Hair (or something that looks like hair)
Are you ready for something abnormal? We’re back with Comme des Garçons and this never-ending twist: twist and TWIST your hair and put it all on top of your head, done. The colorful idea comes from Yamamoto, as if an enormous gum has exploded before the show and the models were wrapped up in this beautiful colored sticky web.
